Forest Clearing
Concept art and studies as part of one of my uni projects, it has a feather and star motif so I made the leaves those shapes as well.
I might upload this onto here as well, but for now you can view the whole project here: https://birdmanip.itch.io/stargazer-scramble
This dragon is only a small part of the project, and most of it is kept hidden, so I wanted to highlight him and the environment here.
Wistmans wood study, just trying to capture the shape of the trees and general vibe
focused on some specific trees, also wistman's wood, they're covered in so much foliage they're almost furry
Thumbnails to solidify the tree shapes
took my favourite thumbnail and added feather/ star shaped leaves
komodo dragon studies, love these guys
initial sketch for a redesign of an old character
more sketches, he ends up becoming a wyvern/ not having arms
